The Bible tells us:

Jesus Christ has provided forgiveness, reconciliation and eternal life through His death on the cross. This gift of salvation is offered freely to all mankind, and received by faith alone regardless of merit.

Being a good person, giving to the poor, praying every day, etc. are all nice things; but, they are NOT required for you to go to heaven! Eph. 2:8-9. And, even the Devil knows there is a God; but, he shudders at the thought! James 2:19.

If you believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior, you WILL go to Heaven. I Cor. 15:3-4.
